Sandrine Holt was born Sandrine Holt on the streets of London on 19th November 1972. The daughter of the Chinese father as well as her French mother. Her family moved to Toronto Canada when she was five, and it is where she has lived from the beginning. She worked as catwalk models in Paris before becoming an actress. In the 1991 film Black Robe, she made her film debut in the role of Annuka. Her performance was rewarded with a Genie Award, the Canadian Oscar. Rapa Nui Rise in Paradise The Legend of Pocahontas & Dance with the Murderer, as well as guest appearances in Poltergeist The Uncanny Force and Outer Limits The Unknown Dimension followed. John Woo's The Thief featured her in 22 episodes. Starship Troopers 2 Hero of the Federation as well as Resident Evil Apocalypse were released in 2004 but on DVDVHS. Her debut series role was in 24 Twenty Four. Holt began her career with smaller guest roles and role in series. In 2013, she was cast in the role of Hostages as the main character Hostages and was also cast as a support character in the Netflix series House of Cards. In The Returned, the US version of The Returned, Holt played Julie Han. She was also cast in the role of Dr. Bethany Exner in 2015.
